The spray and stretch technique is a learned modality that can quickly alleviate acute pain and restricted range of motion due to muscle trigger points. The application of a vapocoolant acts as a counterirritant to myofascial pain due to muscle spasm and trigger points. The use of the spray and stretch technique has a wide and varied application in trigger point therapy.

Do not spray in eyes. Over spraying may cause frostbite. Freezing may alter skin pigmentation. Do not use this product on persons with poor circulation or insensitive skin.
