Margaret Rose Giltinan is the CEO and Chairman of Gebauer Company. Her family purchased the company in 1956 and has owned it ever since.

A lifelong resident of Cleveland, Margaret is a graduate of Hathaway Brown High School and Denison University.

Margaret is an active member of the community. She serves on the Cleveland Clinic’s Taussig Cancer Institute Leadership Council. She is also involved with the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes and serves on the Shaker Lakes Regional Nature Center Endowment Foundation.

Jeff Laturell is vice president finance, treasurer at the Gebauer Company. He is responsible for the supervision of all accounting, finance, information technology, customer service and procurement functions of the company.

Prior to joining the Gebauer Company in January 2013, Jeff served as director of finance for Avery Dennison and as director of finance for American Roll Form. A certified public accountant, Jeff began his career as an auditor for Cooper & Lybrand.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in business administration from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. 

Professional affiliations include American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Ohio University Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Jeff lives with his wife and four children in Mentor, Ohio, where he is an active member of his community, serving as a Catholic Youth Organization coach and a church festival volunteer.

John Kreft is the director of engineering and new product development at the Gebauer Company. He is responsible for directing all engineering activities and supervises all efforts and resources dedicated to research and development for the company.

Prior to joining the Gebauer Company in 2008, John held multiple positions at L’Oreal USA between 1990 and 2008, including manager of the SAP implementation team and manager of operations services and packaging engineering for the Solon, Ohio, facility.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering from Michigan State University.

John lives with his wife and three children in Solon, Ohio, where he is an active member of his community, volunteering regularly at Solon High School for the drama program as well as the swimming and diving team.

Jay Schmies is director of manufacturing at the Gebauer Company. He is responsible for managing all manufacturing, warehouse, facilities and security functions for the company. He also assisted with planning and executing the 2004 company move from its former factory to the new state-of-the-art facility.

A Cleveland native, Jay has worked at the Gebauer Company for more than three decades, beginning in shipping and manufacturing, progressing to shipping supervisor, then manufacturing manager, before taking on his current position.

He is professionally affiliated with WIRE-Net, a nonprofit economic development organization dedicated to strengthening manufacturing jobs. Jay has also developed a working relationship with Cleveland City Council and assisted the city’s Safety Committee.

Jay lives with his wife and three children in North Royalton, Ohio. In his leisure, he enjoys family time, golf and coaching youth sports.

Amy J. Paukovits is director of regulatory affairs at the Gebauer Company.

She is also responsible for quality assurance and quality control at the company. Prior to joining the Gebauer Company in 2002, Amy was employed by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Ben Venue Laboratories and Steris Corporation.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in international studies from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in public policy and international studies from the University of Pittsburgh.

Amy is professionally affiliated with the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).

A West Virginia native, Amy lives with her husband and three children in Broadview Heights, Ohio, and is active in her parish and local schools. She enjoys reading, gardening and being a spectator at her children’s sporting events.
